Huber "Mickey" Smith is a native of Westlake, Louisiana. He recently
graduated from McNeese with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education.
Mickey's main instruments are the soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone saxophones. He is even
known to play a little bass saxophone as well. Mickey took part in the CDBNA Intercollegiate Band, under the direction of
H. Robert Reynolds. To his credit, Smith has also recorded a solo project entitled, "Deeper Than My Tears." Smith served as
Drum Major for the Pride of McNeese Marching Band.
Mickey plans on working in the educational field.
